Slammed

The sun rises,

The children wake up, bicker, and go to school. The baby wakes, eats and falls back asleep. Ben wakes fusses, and tries to control his environment. Lunch happens. I put together supper. Kids come home a few at a time, eat, do their jobs, the sun goes down. The kids bicker and go to bed… And behind the scenes things happen.

The front of calm collection frays at times, and they ask questions. But the answers are too big for all of us. I remain vague because I can only handle what could be in small doses.

The rain falls, the sun rises…I am glad that I can rest under the everlasting wings. At some point, I will face this dragon, but not today… the sun sets.

Vanity of vanities, all is vanity. What profit has a man from all his labor in which he toils under the sun? One generation passes away, and another generation comes; but the earth abides forever. The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it arose. The wind goes toward the south, and turns around to the north. The wind whirls about continually. and comes again on its circuit. All the rivers run to the sea, yet the sea is not full. To the place from which the rivers come, there they return again. …that which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done. And there is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:3-9
