Pray with us

Dear Families, We are currently looking for families to adopt twin baby boys that were born on 12/13/12 at 31 weeks gestation. ———& ——- are 1 month old African American twins.  ——– is premature, but has no significant medical diagnoses and has been discharged to one of our Barker foster families in Maryland.  —— is currently being cared for at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.  ———– has been diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. If you are interested in adopting these twins, or have any further questions, please feel free to contact———–9664. Even if you feel that you are not the right family for these babies, please feel free to pass this information along to anyone else you know that is home study approved and looking to adopt

There is a reason this situation pulls hard at my heart. One is it is close: MD is just across the border! Second, Mazie was a twin. However, her twin was not as lucky: her sister died at birth. The second twin is having surgery today for inserting a gtube and a trach. Pray for wisdom for the workers. Pray for us, whether to apply or not. The parents’ only request was that, if possible, it would be a Christian family. If we are interested, we need to send the information TODAY. I have no picture, except the one in my head. The parents will be looking at the profiles next week at which time the chosen family would have to take custody.

So much dirt and dust has been thrown in our faces lately it makes me think the purpose is to get us off track. However, God is in the boat as the waves crash. I don’t want to lose focus if this is a situation we are to say yes to. Pray with us. Thank you so much.
