This situation was obtained by adopt PA kids web site. Most states have adoption sites where the children are listed prior to being placed on adopt us kids. It is well worth your time to see if your state has such a site!
|Disclaimer: Families must have an approved……… more
Families must have an approved Family Profile (home study) to adopt a child. Only those families with approved profiles will be considered by the child’s caseworker in the county children and youth agency with custody of the child.
The information is given by PAE based solely on the statement of the family that they are approved to adopt. Families in Pennsylvania without an approved Family Profile are directed to contact 1-800-585-SWAN to pursue an agency in their geographic area. Families living outside of Pennsylvania are encouraged to work with an agency in their state to prepare the profile.

Aubrey is a beautiful baby girl who requires a lot of special attention. She has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and medical professionals are unsure where her motor development will grow. Aubrey was born without the ability to suck or swallow. Due to severe gag reflux and inability to learn how to swallow, Aubrey receives her nutrition through a G-J tube. There is the possibility the tube will be required lifelong. Aubrey does have an issue with mucous build up and frequently needs to be suctioned with a machine.
Aubrey receives physical therapy twice a week and attends a medical daycare center twice a week.
Although her vision is questionable, Aubrey will, at times, track movement with her eyes if it is very close to her, so it appears she can see shadows. Aubrey quietly whimpers if she is upset and will be fidgety in her crib, but does not really cry. Once she is picked up and held close, she will calm down.
Aubrey needs a family that can provide her with all her special needs and love her unconditionally. Are you that family for this beautiful little baby girl? All families will be considered. She is not legally free for adoption.
Of course, my heart is with the special ones and this link for adopt pa kids is also listed on my links page. If you have not done so, check it out; it is the tab at the top of my blog post right under the headline picture labeled “links” really original right??
Since she is not listed on the adopt us kids site yet, you can usually assume they are looking for in state families first, but not always!! So if you have a homestudy and are interested, contact the caseworker listed for Aubrey! Lets get her a home!!
