Little one in AZ with DS needs an adoptive home

I was given permission to share the word about Shia by Mother Goose Adoptions:

Oh my gosh guys, I can’t take it!! So very precious!! In my heart of hearts, I would love to adopt another little one with Down syndrome!! They are ornery, stubborn, cute as all get out, opinionated, loving, and although they have multiple health issues, their unique way to view the world somehow adds such variety and spice to life… I could go on… Here is Shia:

Shia is a three year old very special little boy with an extra chromosome. He has overcome many health issues related to his Down Syndrome but the vast majority of those issues seem to be behind him now.

He is on a trach but has not been vented for two years. He is also on a feeding tube. His remaining issues are primarily developmental as he is at the developmental age of a 6-9 months old. He can sit with assistance and is working on his core strength to sit unaided and to hopefully learn to scoot or crawl this next year. He is aware of interactions and those he knows but is non-verbal.

An AZ family would be best so his current nurses and therapies could be more easily continued but an out of state family will be considered if they are familiar with the “system” where they live.  If you are from AZ or KNOW you can transfer his services to your state: contact  Creating Christian Families the adoption division of Mother Goose adoptions:

Please help us spread the word.

Someone is going to be so very blessed!
